Sarah Vasquez

Sarah Vasquez has been contributing for Accent since 2008 Spring semester. Originally just starting as a reporter and occasionally a photographer, now she is starting her first semester as Campus Editor. After stumbling into a newspaper class in high school, Sarah learned that writing, covering news, whether it be current issues or lighthearted tales, was what she wanted to do. It wasn't until years later, when she was bored one night at home that she wanted to cover the music scene. With the help of her website, SoManyBands.net, Sarah has been writing about music,especially the DIY, independent artists for the past seven years. When she's not working in the Accent office or in class towards her journalism degree, she's writing articles for various publications such as Austin Vida, D.A.M. Magazine, Amped Reviews and whoever else will take her.
