Students came out to mingle, sing, dance and eat free food as part of this semester's Unity Jam Festival held on March 1 and 2 at all campuses in order to celebrate cultural diversity.
The festival, hosted by the Student Life Office, exposed students to a variety of cultures and promoted unity among different cultural backgrounds.
Individual campuses hosted their own festival themes.
Students at Pinnacle Campus celebrated Women's History Month by learning about diverse historical women from various backgrounds and their role in society on March 1. The next day, at Round Rock Campus, students learned about how people are like pieces of a puzzle who all fit together. Other themes included hip hop culture, exploring cultures from other continents, and promoting students to get up and volunteer in order to take charge and make changes in the world themselves.
