The Intergalactic Nemesis is a true Austin original but what it is exactly can be hard to pin down. It’s part radio show, part comic and now, according to show creator Jason Neulander, it is a “live-action graphic novel.”
Earlier this week, Accent staff writer, Odin Amador caught up with evil mastermind Neulander to pick his brain about his project.

Students who drive to Austin Community College’s Rio Grande campus will be losing 75 parking spots at the end of the month. Starting June 30, ACC staff and students will no longer be able to use the parking lot directly north of the ACC parking garage.

Jorge Amador is a 19 year-old sophomore Government major, and, as of Friday April, 30, Amador is the new student body president.
Amador was unopposed in this year’s student government election. Before becoming president, Amador served as the Northridge Campus senator.

The Austin Community College that Anita Howard started at 37 years ago looked a lot different from the one she is retiring from today. Working as a public information officer, Howard was one of the original staff members employed at ACC when it first opened its doors. Back then, the campuses were mainly old high schools, the tuition was $8 per credit hour for Texas residents, and Austin wasn’t too sure this whole community college idea would work out.
